The total Offertory Collection for last week was £960.36.  Fr. David thanks you all for your generosity.

Parish Pastoral Development Group:   The next meeting of the Parish Pastoral Development Group will be on Tuesday 13 July at 7.30pm in the Presbytery.

Wallasey 2 Lourdes Youth Group presents: Concert on Wednesday was a great success and raised £500.  Many thanks to all who supported this event.  Our final event is an American Evening on Saturday 17 July in the Parish Centre at 7.30pm.  Tickets £5 from Margaret Matthews 638 0882 or Peter O'Brien 639 9341.  Music with an American theme and a BBQ (weather permitting).

S.V.P. There will be an S.V.P. Recruitment Drive on the weekend of 17/18 July at all Masses with an informal short meeting on the following Wednesday 21 July at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.

Finance & Premises Committee Meeting: A copy of the Minutes is on the Notice Board in the Porch and can members please take their copies which are at the back of church. 

Montfort Missionaries: Fr. Paul Allerton has written, on behalf of the Montfort Missionaries, to thank all parishioners for their very generous response to his appeal which raised £1,640.16.  and to assure everyone of his prayers.

Lourdes Sick Fund: will be holding an Auction in October and would be grateful for any items they can sell.  Must be new.  Please leave at Presbytery.

APF/Mill Hill Missions Annual Mass:  Sunday 11 July 2010 at 2.00pm at St. Michael & All Angels Church, Woodchurch.  Please see Notice at back of Church for further details.     Steve Docherty, Secretary.

Parish Cambodia Link: I am delighted to say that Fr. Heri will be visiting the Parish on Sunday 11 July and will speak to us about his work in Cambodia at the 8.30 and 10.30am Masses.  He will be accompanied by Thoem Thon, the head catechist at Taom.  We will take the opportunity that weekend of launching our Cambodia Link Fund Raising programme and I hope we can provide an opportunity to meet Fr. Heri and Thoem Thon informally when you can ask them any questions about their work and the different ways we can support them.

The Wednesday Word is a gospel resource which is already being sent home each week with the children from school.  There is also a parish version which contains the following Sunday gospel and reflections on the Sunday readings by Fr. Henry Wansbrough OSB.  We have printed 100 copies of this for those who are interested and if we need any more we will increase this amount next week.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes July 26 - Aug. 3.  The 60th Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes leaves at the end of the month.  There is need for a few more trained nurses to accompany our sick pilgrims.  If you are a trained nurse and would like to offer your services please contact the Pilgrimage Office on 07773324264 or the medical line on 07970943940.
