Float Club & St. Joseph's school.

Offertory Giving Card, Gift Aid Forms or Standing Order Forms: If you took any of these forms home with you or have received forms in the post can you please return them to Mike Russell at the Curial Offices (address shown on both forms) or hand them in at Mass or in to the Presbytery.
Training for Readers: We are very grateful to all those who exercise the Ministry of the Word in our two churches. To support you in this ministry we are offering a training session on two days: either Sunday 2 June at 3.00pm or Wednesday 5 June at 7.30pm. These will be for those who read at St. Joseph's and will take place in St. Joseph's church. Arrangements will be made later for readers at St. Alban's. It is essential that you attend one of these sessions. If anyone else would like to read at Mass at St. Joseph's please come along to one of the sessions.
Food Bank: The donation of food this week to the food bank from St. Joseph & St. Alban weighed in at 92.51kg. Well done everybody.
APF - Mill Hill Missions: Annual Mission Mass to be held at St. Michael & All Angels, Woodchurch on Saturday 8 June at 2pm. See Notice at back of church.
Catholic Children's Society: It is time once again to empty our boxes. Please leave them at the Presbytery or give them direct to Pauline Moor.
Cambodia Link Appeal: £11,000 has been sent to Fr. Panus who has replied, thanking us and remembering all of us in his prayers. Anyone needing a new supply of envelopes please speak to Fr. David or contact the Parish Office.
Padre Pio Prayer Group: Is held on the last Friday of every month in St. Joseph's meeting room. The next meeting is this Friday 31 May at 7pm. All welcome.
Messy Church: Meeting for helpers on Sunday 2 June at 7.00pm in St. Alban's Parish Centre.
Wallasey LPA Retreat 2013: Oblate Retreat Centre, Wistaston Hall, 89 Broughton Lane, Crewe CW2 8JS. Friday 12 July after 4pm until Sunday 14 July after lunch. The weekend is led by Fr. Martin Moran OMI and Sr. Catherine Lavery, a sister of the Holy Family of Bordeaux. Wistaston Hall has been refurbished. The catering is excellent and there is an 'honesty bar' in the TV Lounge. Of the 26 rooms, 3 ground floor rooms have been adapted for people with disabilities. Soap and towels are provided and there are tea and coffee facilities on each floor. We will organise lifts to make it possible for everyone to come. Cost £118 full board.
The Music Club, formerly the Guitar Club welcomes anyone interested in learning to play Flute, Saxaphone or any other instrument, on Thursdays 7.45pm. Phone Pete on 639 6265 or 07718 368 599.
