Nora Retires

Nora O'Hare has been a life long fund raiser for various charities.  Over the last three and half years her main project has been the Lourdes Sick Fund, raising over £10,000 enabling fifteen people to go to Lourdes.

She now feels, having past her 80th birthday more than a year ago, it's time to take a step back and just be a helper, rather than the organiser.

The picture shows Nora receiving a well-earned 'thank you gift' from Fr David, at her final fund-raising event for the Lourdes fund.  Many, many thanks and good wishes go to Nora for a long and happy retirement as a 'helper'!
