St Alban's Feast Day Sunday 21 June

St. Alban's Feast Day ~ Sunday 21 June 11.30am to 4.00pm.

A family day of fun and entertainment.  Class 2 from St Alban's infants opened the celebrations with three lovely dances in which the children smiled throughout.  This was followed by a delightful display of modern and tap dancing by fifteen year old Kathleen Nance from St Alban's Players.

Eve and Maddie entertained next and danced a country style (their own arrangement).  Next up was a large group of school children from St Alban's Primary School who were led by dance instructor, Anna Christensen.  Another star, 10 year old Liam Sale, entertained with his own arrangement of a street dance.

Next up were groups from St Alban's Juniors, under the direction of Clodagh Bellis and Laura Yates. They charmed on-lookers with a selection of choreographed dances.  The last dance act were the Line Dancers who meet every Monday evening at St Alban's parish centre.  They entertained with displays of their own, under the direction of Sandra & Ted, and even included some audience participation.

The Bond family closed the afternoon with a selection of Scottish music for the audience to listen/dance to.

A great afternoon was had by all. Photographs to follow
