Vocations Festival

Vocations Festival 2009.  This was to mark the Silver Jubilees of Fr. David Long, Fr. Robin Sutton and Fr. Peter Dutton, who were all ordained at St. Alban's Parish, Liscard in 1984.  It was a  great success starting on Wednesday 17 June  11.00am. with Holy Hour for Vocations then 12 noon Mass with chief Celebrant Fr. Phil Moor, who was also ordained in this parish, then at 7.30pm a Workshop "The Family as the Cradle of Vocations" led by the Family Life Commission with Fr. Jonathan Mitchell.

Thursday 18 June started the same with Holy Hour for Vocations then 12 noon Mass with chief Celebrant Fr. Chris Matthews, who was also ordained in this Parish, then 7.30pm Workshop "The Family as the Cradle for Vocations" led by the Family Life Commission and Sr. Jo Bird.

Friday 19 June again with Holy Hour followed by 12 noon Mass with chief Celebrant Bishop Brian Noble.

Saturday 20 June Holy Hour for Vocations followed by 12 noon Mass with chief Celebrant Fr. David Long. 

The week was brought to a close with a Concelebrated Mass - chief Celebrant Fr. Russell Cooke and joined by Fr. Robin Sutton, Fr. Peter Dutton and Fr. David Long.

The four days turned out to be a wonderful celebration enjoyed by everyone who attended.
