Victoria Smerdon
I came to Catholicism later in life, though baptised at St Alban’s, and attending Marymount Convent for 4 years, I was confirmed CofE and spent my teens at St Mary’s Liscard, helping to run the Sunday School. In 2006 on a visit to Rome something I had been searching for came to the front, and with the help of a priest in Westminster, London, Father Timothy Dean, I was directed to St Alban’s Wallasey once again and was instantly welcomed. I went through the enquiry group helped by John and Mary O'Dell and was received into the church Easter 2007. I hope that being on the PDG will allow me to help others find what I found, peace and a very big extended family ! And in the best spirit of families space to grow.
